What if every day were a sound? What could a week, a month, a year sound like? CALENDAR consists of 364 interactive daily performance and listening cues for one or two groups (the instrumentation is open). The resulting sounds and textures grow from the composed materials and are developed in real-time by the performers, who listen and react to each other to create the continuous, context-dependent and constantly-changing timbre-form of CALENDAR. The performers assemble the materials to create a unique version lasting from 5 minutes to 1 hour.
